I really enjoy narrative journalism podcasts, and I believe that content design for voice will become even more essential in the next few years. So when I had the opportunity to study audio narratives with Jessica Partnow in graduate school, I jumped at the chance. Writing for audio is different than UX string writing or writing for long-form reading; musicality is essential, it’s much more imagistic, and it demands care for the audience as a listener.
